How to take care of your Cuisinart MultiClad Pro set
Wooden, plastic, or silicon utensils are best for use in stainless steel pots and pans so as not to scratch the fine finish on your cookware. However, it is possible to still use your metal utensils on your Cuisinart MultiClad Pro set despite the fact that they may scratch the surface. Any scuffs and scrapes that come as a result of your metal spoons and whisks would merely be aesthetic surface scratches and they will not result in any lasting damage to your cookware.
To best take care of your stainless steel set consider taking time to ’season’it before its first use. Begin by washing the interior and exterior of your set with a mild dish soap, then rinse and dry completely. Select an an oil that has a high smoke point (400 degrees F or higher), such as avocado, almond, corn, canola, grape seed, peanut, safflower, sesame, or sunflower oil, and lightly coat the insides of your cookware. Place the pan over medium heat and let it sit until the oil begins to smoke.
Remove from the stove top and let the pan cool until it can be comfortably handled and clean away the remaining oil with a paper towel. Before storing the pan, place a paper towel in between each pan (if they will be stacked) to avoid unnecessary scratching.
To keep up the seasoning on your pan, avoid washing it with soap and rather wipe the pan clean with paper towels after each use.

Boiling uses a lot more water (which incidentally takes longer to heat and therefore steals away even more of your time) and involves totally immersing the vegetables in the water, and extra cooking time. Not only does the process take additional time and uses more electricity, but nutrients seep into the water while boiling so it also robs the vegetables of the goodness your body requires; the longer they cook, the more vitamins escape.
However, when the steamer is used with the 3-quart saucepan and lid, less water is used, more nutrients are retained, and the flavors of your veggies remain. Unlike boiled vegetables, the steamer only cooks veggies briefly using only the steam (the vegetables never touch the boiling water and they only come into contact with the steam) and then are removed from the heat.

How to clean your Cuisinart MultiClad Pro cookware
Cuisinart MultiClad Pro is safe for use in the dishwasher (lemon detergent is not recommended), but dirt and grime from other dirty dishes may scratch the finish.
If the dishwasher is not well packed, other dishes or flatware may mar the surface of the cookware. Over a long period, continuous cleaning dishwasher will likely scratch your cookware.
The triple ply construction of this cookware is highly conductive and efficient for quick, even heat distribution so a low to medium setting is sufficient for most cooking (even medium-high is enough to boil a pot of water).
Although using your Cuisinart MultiClad Pro at a high heat is not recommended, life happens and there may be a time when food is accidentally burned in the pan. Burned food may leave a stubborn residue that is resistant to soaking and not easy to remove.
To make it a little easier to clean such a mess, add about an inch of water and a little dishwasher detergent; bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and simmer for up to a quarter of an hour. Clean with a kitchen sponge after the pan has cooled.
For stubborn stains on the bottom (outside) of your pots and pans, use oven cleaner(remember to only try this with the outside of your cookware, not for the interior) and follow the directions on the cleaner. For example, if the oven cleaner states that it should be used on a warm oven, then simply warm the pan before applying. Always be sure to rinse the cookware thoroughly after cleaning.

Tri-ply is a type commonly used whencreating cookware as it takes the best of both worlds; merging the lightness of aluminum with the durability of stainless steel. The middle layer, or core,of a tri-ply set, is made of aluminum while the outer two layers consist of stainless steel.

What is the difference between Cuisinart MultiClad Pro vs Tramontina Tri-Ply?
Most Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad cookware is made of an aluminum alloy middle layer with an outer layer of magnetic stainless steel, and as such, the cookware set is also induction compatible.
However, the Tramontina Tri-Ply Base line is a lower end product. Although the set is technically “tri-ply”, and it is constructed of thin stainless steel sidewalls and an undersized tri-ply aluminum disc base bonded to the bottom, the three layers only make up the bottom and not the sidewalls. For this reason, the sides of the Tramontina Tri-Ply Base do not conduct much-needed heat.
Another difference is the drip-free rims (which are present on every piece of the Cuisinart MultiClad Pro set) while the Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad only has drip-free rims on their skillets.
